As part of this vision, 1Life is seeking enthusiastic and resilient Sales Consultants – Outbound to join their dynamic Direct Sales team. These professionals will play a pivotal role in driving product sales through telephonic engagements, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships.
Tasks
- Initiate outbound calls to existing and potential customers to promote insurance products.
- Conduct in-depth interviews to clarify customer needs using multi-level sales scripts.
- Recommend and sell insurance products that meet individual customer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to operational and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Capture customer interactions and update the CRM system accurately for follow-ups and data accuracy.
- Manage own workflow efficiently to meet deadlines and sales targets.
- Stay updated with policy and product knowledge via internal learning platforms.
- Identify new sales opportunities via referrals and existing customer recommendations.
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
- Must be within the DOFA (Date of First Appointment)
- Regulatory Exam 5 (Advantageous)
- 120 FAIS Credits (Advantageous)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of telephonic sales experience (Essential)
- Experience in cold calling (Advantageous)
