1. Store Planner

Introduction

Assist and support the Planner with administrative tasks and analysis required to deliver optimum availability and profitable stock investments.

Job description
  •  Develop and Execute Channel Plan
    • Develop cross plan per centralised grading parameters in line with critical path. 
    Ensure exceptions are executed as agreed with Central Planning. 
    • Ensure New Stores are stocked to plan – in line with Location brief and critical 
    path.
    • Conduct Post seasonal analysis with regards to size, store and product 
    performance and identify exceptions to inform grading exceptions (move to 
    data analysis).
    • Maintain On the Dot parameter tool timeously to inform agreed stock 
    parameters and optimised sales.
  • Develop and Execute Allocations
    • Prioritise allocations based on trading, monthly launches and monthly intake 
    forecast.
    • Monitor and analyse store performance against plan and provide accurate and 
    timeous information to optimise decision making.
    • Capture and update sizing ratios in RMS and sizing tool.
    • Create size profile & size ratios for each product to optimise allocations and 
    future orders.
  • Data analysis & reporting
    • Analyse store performance and provide accurate and timeous information to 
    optimise business decision making. 
    • Conduct grade analysis and present findings to planner and central planning 
    team for action.
    • Check In-season exceptions and suggest possible resolution to planner or 
    action where appropriate. For example – availability, size profile including on 
    order ratio. 
    • Assist stores in resolving any queries relating to stock.
Minimum requirements

•         Relevant retail/ business qualification

2. Accounts Receivable Accountant II

To deliver all the required accounting general ledger reconciliations and controls to ensure effective and accurate reporting of accounts receivables.

Job description

·       Manage Transactional recording and risk on a weekly basis

·       Ensure all journals are accurately processed to mitigate risk.

·       Ensure that the provision for doubtful debts is maintained monthly.

·       Ensure that GL Reconciliations are completed timeously and reviewed, and all issues are promptly highlighted.

·       Ensure that the subledger reconciliation is performed weekly.

·       Ensure that the subledger closing takes place weekly.

·       Manage ED Loan portfolio by providing support to the ED loan team in terms of providing financial information as requested and to ensure loans are accurately reflected.

·       Ensure that the interest on ED Loan customers is processed timeously

·       Maintain Debtors master data by ensuring that all new customer applications are complete and existing customer information is updated in Oracle.

·       Ensure all existing new leases for property are accurately maintained per the existing lease agreement and all new lease templates are created in Property manager module in Oracle.

·       Prepare monthly reporting packs and commentary within the specified deadlines.

·       Responsible for liaising with the external and internal auditors when required.

·       Ensure monthly intercompany billings are processed timeously.

Minimum requirements

Qualification and Experience

·       Relevant Financial qualification – B Comm or equivalent

·       4 years’ experience in Central Finance environment

·       Sound understanding of IFRS, accounting processes and internal controls

Job description
  • Optimise the continuous availability of product in the department to meet customer demand
  • Contribute to the department plan with a specific focus on planning objectives and requirements
  • Develop and manage the department plan in line with planning principles to ensure Food Range (depth & breadth of range) delivers availability, sales and profitable growth
  • Communicate and ensure adherence to all key objectives and priorities from the Category Operating Plan to the department teams
  • Assist department team to prioritise objectives and resources to deliver operating plan, both from a product and people perspective
  • Define, set and monitor product flow models and integrate with Supply Chain and cross functional team to ensure delivery of the department plans
  • Contribute to the Category Scorecards to ensure stretch budgets and targets are set for the department
  • Review department performance against Department Scorecards
  • Integrate with team to set and achieve operational KPI’s – Sales, waste, availability, and financial accountable contribution of the Foods Department.
  • Set, monitor and deliver inventory plans and achieve all inventory targets (sales, service levels, stock cover, forecast accuracy, waste cost %, availability) in line with customer availability objectives for the Category Operating Plan

  • Understanding of the respective category is advantageous
