Background & Job Description
Daimler Truck Southern Africa, a leader in commercial vehicle manufacturing, has partnered with the South African government’s Youth Employment Services (YES) initiative to provide practical workplace experience to young, unemployed individuals. This 12-month programme aims to equip participants with industry-relevant skills while supporting national efforts to reduce youth unemployment.

Tasks

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Clear criminal record.
- English proficiency and computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tertiary education in:
- Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial).
- HR Management, Finance, or Supply Chain.
- IT, Marketing, or Legal (newly admitted attorneys).
Experience
- No prior work experience required—ideal for first-time job seekers.
- Candidates must not have participated in any previous YES programme.
