Job Description:
As a Customer Sales & Service Consultant Learner, your main objective is to support and engage with customers while learning how to drive business success through customer service and digital onboarding. You will receive structured training in compliance, client engagement, digital tools, and product knowledge.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acquiring new customers and educating them about EasyPay’s digital and financial products
- Promoting the use of digital banking platforms and assisting with activations
- Cross-selling additional services and value-added products
- Ensuring a seamless and professional customer journey
- Verifying customer identity through internal systems
- Conducting regulatory compliance checks as required by FICA, POPIA, and NCR
- Assisting customers with account setup, card issuance, and queries
- Referring complicated customer queries to team leaders for resolution
- Collaborating with team members to achieve shared service goals
- Reaching and exceeding individual sales targets to support revenue generation
- Building strong customer relationships and retaining them through excellent service
- Reducing account closures by minimizing operational losses and addressing service gaps
- Acting with honesty, transparency, and full compliance with financial regulatory standards
- Escalating decisions that exceed authority levels to the appropriate channels
- Contributing to the improvement of customer processes and user experience
- Driving the adoption of digital and self-service options

- Prioritizing onboarding and activation of customer accounts

Requirements:
- South African citizen with a valid ID
- Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- No prior working experience required
- Willingness to commit to a full 12-month learnership
- Passion for working with people and learning about financial services
