Job Description:
The Old Mutual Insure Learnership for Unemployed Youth is a structured 12-month programme that provides theoretical and practical workplace experience. Learners will gain exposure in key business units, build critical insurance-related skills, and work towards an NQF Level 5 qualification, enhancing their employability across the financial sector.
The learnership includes modules on customer service, data compilation, sales, analytical thinking, and compliance with legal practices within the insurance industry. Successful candidates will work full time and receive a monthly stipend to support their development journey.
Requirements:
To be eligible for the 2025 Old Mutual Insure Learnership, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Aged between 18 – 35 years
- Possess a valid Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- Passed Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy
- English as a primary language
- Currently unemployed and not studying
- Clear credit and criminal record
- Possess a valid certified ID document
- Provide a full academic transcript (certified)
- Certified Matric certificate
- Willingness to commit to the full duration of the programme
