The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) invites applications from suitably qualified youth residing within the city for an Administration Internship Programme in the Group Citizen Relationship and Urban Management (CRUM) Department. This internship is aimed at empowering young graduates with practical skills and public sector experience.
Internship Overview
- Position Title: Administration Intern
- Department: CRUM – Integrated Service Delivery and Stakeholder Interface Unit
- Stipend: R10,109.86 per month (basic salary, no benefits)
- Contract Duration: 18 months

Minimum Requirements
- Must be a resident of the City of Johannesburg
- South African citizen
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- A National Diploma or Degree in any of the following (minimum 360 credits):
- Public Administration
- Business Administration
- Public Relations
- Journalism
- International Relations
- Marketing and Communications
- Or any related qualification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must not have participated in an internship aligned to the same qualification
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Stakeholder Interface Unit
- Assist in the coordination of service delivery operations
- Support stakeholder engagement activities
- Compile and collate information for internal reports
- Handle internal communication and perform general clerical duties
