Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • A formal technical or store management qualification will be an added advantage
  • Valid driver’s licence (PDP will be an advantage)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an FMCG environment
  • Knowledge of stock control systems and inventory management best practices

Role Responsibility

  • Conduct daily stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Liaise with suppliers and request quotes for required parts and consumables
  • Order and replenish parts and consumables to maintain stock levels
  • Receive and issue parts as per operational requirements
  • Open and manage job cards to track maintenance activities
  • Match daily invoices for procurement and stock movements
  • Conduct monthly stocktakes and prepare reports
  • Issue tools and perform daily reconciliations of special tools
  • Maintain control over the parts store to ensure security and organisation
  • Assist the buyer with quotes and placing orders for parts
  • Maintain cleanliness and order through daily housekeeping
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly
  • Perform regular filing and documentation updates throughout the month
