This structured 24-month graduate internship is crafted to prepare participants for leadership roles within the FMCG industry by offering hands-on exposure, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities.

What is the Tiger Brands Future Leaders Graduate Internship?

The Tiger Brands Future Leaders Graduate Internship, also known as the FLDP, is a professional development programme designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the FMCG sector. Through this programme, graduates will:

  • Gain hands-on industry experience in one of Africa’s top FMCG companies.
  • Participate in a structured training programme combining mentorship, workshops, and on-the-job learning.
  • Build a strong career foundation in FMCG leadership roles.
  • Develop skills aligned with the future demands of the industry.

The FLDP offers placements in multiple disciplines:

  • Human Resources Graduate / Intern
    • Degree: Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
  • Chemical Engineering Graduate / Intern
    • Degree: BSc or BEng in Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering Graduate / Intern
    • Degree: BSc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering
  • Corporate Affairs Graduate / Intern
    • Degree: Business Management, Economics, Enterprise Development, Communications, Strategic Communication, or Journalism
  • HR Graduate / Intern
    • Degree: HR or Human Resources
  • Supply Chain Management Graduate / Intern
    • Degree: Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Customer Marketing Graduate / Intern
    • Degree: Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Economics, or Business Management
  • CA(SA) Trainee Programme
    • Qualifications aligned with Chartered Accountant (SA) stream

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Hold a 3- or 4-year tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Have a strong academic record
  • Be passionate about developing a career in the FMCG industry
  • Have little to no prior work experience in their chosen discipline
