The Gauteng DSD Social Work Internship is a structured workplace programme designed for recent BA Social Work graduates. Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a BA in Social Work.
- Be registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professionals (SACSSP).
- Be between 18–35 years old.
- Be unemployed and not enrolled in full-time studies.
- Be South African citizens residing in Gauteng.
- Have a clean criminal record.
- Provide proof of disability if applicable (preference given to youth with disabilities).
Role Responsibility
As a Social Work Intern, duties include:
- Gaining hands-on experience in social work practices, including case management and community interventions.
- Supporting social service delivery across Gauteng’s corridors and institutions.
