What is Senral?

AppCentrix Data Science Learnerships 2025 The AppCentrix Data Science Learnership Programme is a structured 12-month initiative designed to provide practical exposure, technical training, and real-world experience in the rapidly growing field of data science. The programme is developed to support aspiring young professionals, specifically individuals living with a disability, by offering them a career pathway in one of the most in-demand industries today.

Through this opportunity, participants will gain hands-on training, mentorship from experts, and exposure to modern data tools and methodologies. By the end of the programme, learners will be well-positioned to pursue careers in data-driven industries such as finance, technology, telecommunications, healthcare, and engineering.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

• Be a South African citizen
• Currently reside in Gauteng
• Be unemployed and available full-time from 01 October 2025
• Persons living with a disability (medical or disability confirmation letter required)
• Hold a minimum qualification of NQF Level 6 or higher (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree)

Preferred Fields of Study:

• Data Science / Statistics
• Computer Science / Information Systems
• Mathematics / Applied Mathematics
• Engineering / Physics
• Business Analytics / Economics
• Any other quantitative or technical field

Role Responsibility:

The AppCentrix Data Science Learnership Programme aims to develop the skills of participants through both theory and workplace practice. Learners will be responsible for:

• Participating in training sessions focused on data science and analytics
• Engaging in real-world projects under supervision of mentors
• Applying statistical, mathematical, and computational techniques to solve business problems
• Collaborating with peers and senior professionals on project-based assignments
• Gaining exposure to modern data tools and platforms used in the industry
• Demonstrating commitment, professionalism, and continuous learning throughout the programme
