The CEF In-Service Traineeship is a structured programme for students pursuing technical, administrative, and engineering qualifications. Trainees gain workplace exposure, develop professional skills, and contribute to South Africa’s energy sector under the guidance of experienced professionals. This programme supports CEF’s mission to secure the nation’s energy supply through exploration, development, marketing, and strategic partnerships.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Matric certificate
  • N6 qualification in one of the following fields:
    • HR Management
    • Public Administration
    • Business Management
    • Supply Chain / Logistics
    • Financial Management
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Civil Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
