Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to qualify:
- National Technical Certificate [N3 – N6]
- Matric or Technical Matric with the following subjects:
- Mathematics & Physical Science or Engineering Science
- Electrical Trade Theory or Mechanical Trade Theory
- Motor Trade Theory
- Mechanical Drawing or Graphical Design
Role Responsibility
During the Toyota Learner Maintenance Programme, participants will complete intensive theoretical and practical training, including:
- Working effectively in a team environment
- Applying workplace safety and correct use of hand tools
- Interpreting and applying assembly and manufacturing drawings
- Performing marking off and welding tasks
- Operating and monitoring production machines
- Preparing surfaces for production processes
- Firefighting and emergency safety procedures
- Handling operations and dispatch of finished products
