Minimum Requirements

• Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, stock-taking, and customer service is advantageous
• Basic knowledge of DIY tools and hardware is desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, honest, and a strong team player
• Passionate about sales, customer service, and learning new skills

Role Responsibility

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and offering recommendations
• Promote and sell products to achieve sales targets
• Ensure products are displayed attractively and neatly on shelves
• Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and report discrepancies
• Participate in regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment
• Learn about products, including tools, machinery, and hardware
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle returns or exchanges
• Follow store procedures for opening, closing, and securing the premises
• Work closely with colleagues and management to achieve store objectives
