Position Overview: Graduate Junior Business Analyst
We invite unemployed South African graduates, aged 18-35, to apply for our Graduate Junior Business Analyst position. This 12-month contract offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the financial services industry. Successful candidates will receive training and hands-on experience within our Change Portfolio team, preparing them for a career as a Junior Business Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze, and define business requirements for long-term insurance quotations and new business. This involves understanding the nuances of financial management and wealth management within the insurance sector.
- Develop Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) and use case specifications, including appropriate diagrams and test conditions. Proficiency in financial planning and familiarity with financial institutions will be advantageous.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure successful process implementation and adherence, and identify necessary refinements. This is crucial for maintaining the integrity of financial services provided.
- Understand interrelated processes across different company areas and recommend improvements, leveraging knowledge in pnc stock and money management.
- Suggest enhancements or replacements for existing software and applications to provide competitive advantages for Sanlam Risk and Savings. Experience with pnc personal banking or ally financial auto systems would be beneficial.
- Identify opportunities for new technology, digital developments, and automation. This can significantly impact service finance and overall operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain work management and resource planning statistics, continuously improving data integrity. Knowledge of desert financial credit union practices can be helpful.
- Conduct user testing to ensure the robustness of implemented solutions.
What You Need to Succeed
Role Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Degree or Diploma in BSc, BComm in Informatics, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
- South African citizenship, aged 18-35.
- Currently unemployed and not participating in any other INSETA programme.
- Proof of relevant qualifications and most recent academic results.
