SARS x23 Audit Compliance Vacancies The South African Revenue Service (SARS) is on the lookout for motivated and results-driven individuals to join their dynamic team as Auditor Compliance Audit Level 1. This temporary role is pivotal in streamlining SARS operations through rigorous and methodical compliance audits. The position is a 9-month contract set to conclude on 31 March 2025.

The primary objective of this role is to execute standard limited scope audits or verifications based on risk profiles, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. This encompasses planning, executing, and reporting audit findings to bolster the operational efficacy of SARS.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must satisfy one of the following qualification and experience requirements:
- Option 1:
- National Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or Auditing (NQF6)
- 2-3 years of experience in an Auditing/Finance environment, including 1-2 years at a knowledge worker level
- Option 2:
- Senior Certificate (NQF 4)
- 5 years of experience in an Auditing/Finance environment, including 1-2 years at a knowledge worker level

Process Management
- Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated on relevant acts, legislation, and regulations impacting your work.
- Compliance Monitoring: Identify and report potential breaches of regulations, policies, SOPs, and conduct standards.
- Audit Execution: Conduct standard limited scope audits to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Work Planning: Effectively plan and organize work tasks within your area.
- Committee Submissions: Prepare and present submissions to the interest and penalty committee.
- Accountability: Deliver contracted work outputs within agreed parameters, quality standards, and client service targets.
