Key Responsibilities
As an Asset Verification Intern, your primary role will involve ensuring the accurate management and verification of SACAA’s assets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspection of Goods: Inspect all received goods to identify any damage or discrepancies. Ensure that the delivered items match the order specifications.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record the acquisition and disposal of fixed assets.
- Asset Maintenance: Ensure ongoing maintenance and verification of all SACAA assets.
- Processing Accounts: Manage and process stores accounts related to asset management.
- Barcode Assignment: Assign barcodes to newly purchased fixed assets and related invoices.
- Asset Location: Identify and locate newly purchased assets on the floor, determine their barcode numbers, and allocate them to the current year’s additions.
- Condition Assessment: Conduct verification of SACAA assets and assess their condition regularly.
Requirements
To qualify for this internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Education:
- Minimum: Matriculation Certificate
- Ideal Qualification: Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, or Auditing
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in asset management is preferred.
