Internship Overview
- Position Title: Executive Directors Office Internship
- Duration: 18 Months Contract
- Stipend: R9,531.54 per month

This internship is designed to equip interns with practical experience in administrative roles, contributing to the daily operations of the Executive Directors Office at the Department of Human Settlements. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in a range of tasks, including general office administration, monitoring and evaluation, risk management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Interns in the Executive Directors Office will perform various professional administrative and support services. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with developmental level administrative tasks in the Business Management Directorate.
- Conducting site visits and performing research analysis to verify reported information and undertake physical risk assessments of projects.
- Supporting administrative tasks related to long, medium, and short-range strategic planning.
- Managing the transportation of restricted and confidential documents.
- Contributing to the development of Business Plans, Quarterly Reports, and Strategic Planning Concept Notes.
Requirements
To be eligible for the Admin Internship Programme, applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:
- National Diploma or Degree in Business Management
- National Diploma or Degree in Administration
- National Diploma or Degree in Public Management
- National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration
