As a Sales Trainee, you will embark on a journey to understand the inner workings of the Sales Department. This is a trainee position that involves hands-on experience across various sales functions, such as standing in for Sales Representatives (Reps) and Account Developers. The role also includes coordinating promotions and events and assisting the Sales department with daily operations. The ultimate goal is to develop you into a full-fledged Sales Representative within the Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Function: Perform applicable sales tasks and assist with repping duties.
- Market Development: Participate in market development and prospecting for new opportunities.
- Asset Management: Manage company assets efficiently.
- Promotional Activities: Coordinate promotional execution and events, particularly in the Touch Channel.
- SHEQ Responsibilities: Adhere to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards within the organization.
Skills, Experience & Education
To be considered for this Sales Trainee position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Minimum of a 3-year National Diploma (NQF6) in Sales, Marketing, or Business.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience within the FMCG environment. Experience with promotional work is advantageous (only applicable to the Touch Channel).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Other Requirements: A valid driver’s license is essential.
