The IT Temp Trainee will primarily support end users by providing training on the use of computer hardware, peripherals, and software. The goal is to ensure optimal functionality of user workstations through defect-free support and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Computer Hardware Installation & Support: Installing, maintaining, and providing support for computer hardware.
- Software Installation & Support: Ensuring non-application software programs are correctly installed and maintained.
- User Training & Support: Offering one-on-one training to users for effective use of computer hardware and software.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: A recognised Grade 12 certificate and a 3-year Computer qualification from a University/Technikon or a recognised tertiary institution.
- Work Experience: At least one year of experience working in an IS Department, particularly in user support.
- Skills & Competencies:
