The Opportunity
This Accounting Internship offers recent graduates and students pursuing a career in accounting a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in a professional environment. You will be involved in various aspects of accounting, including:
- Daily accounting tasks: Bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations
- Audit process: Participate and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Financial analysis: Learn and apply techniques to improve operations
- Finance projects: Contribute to budgeting and forecasting
- Accounts payable and receivable: Provide support in management
- Document management: Ensure accuracy and assist with saving on shared drive
- Fixed assets: Capture, count, and reconcile
- Member support: Assist with inbound calls on benefits

Requirements
- Diploma or degree: In accounting or relevant qualification
- Recent graduate: In Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Microsoft Office: Proficient, especially in Excel
- Communication and teamwork: Excellent skills
- Eagerness to learn: Adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of regulations: Financial regulations and accounting principles is a plus (not required)
