The Agricultural Research Council (ARC) is currently seeking skilled casual painters for its Potchefstroom division. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a passion for painting, attention to detail, and a desire to contribute to maintaining the ARC facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Handle minor repairs and surface preparation.
- Assist with painting preparation and clean-up.
- Perform general maintenance duties as needed.
- Preparing and painting various surfaces within ARC facilities
- Ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to ARC standards
- Maintaining clean workspaces and proper handling of equipment
- Assisting with related maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Grade 10 plus 1-2 years of relevant experience or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a painter.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Organized, neat, and accurate in work.
- Preference will be given to applicants residing in Potchefstroom.
