Requirements:
- Senior Certificate
- Certificate of Registration as an Enrolled Nurse or Staff Nurse
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse or Staff Nurse
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing care
- Good understanding of customer care and knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, Patient’s Rights Charter and National Core Norms and Standard
- Must be able to work shifts
Duties:
- Demonstrate understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices
- Work within a structured environment
- Facilitate and monitor patients’ health education programme (NTCP)
- Facilitate effective discharge processes
- Ensure proper record keeping
- Maintain standards to improve the nursing care
- Render patient care and provide support to Professional Nurse
