At Pick n Pay, we are committed to delivering excellent customer service by maintaining high standards in our Fruit & Veg department. As a Shelf Packer, you will play a vital role in preparing and displaying fresh produce while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the work area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing & Processing Products: Prepare, process, and wrap Fruit & Veg products to ensure freshness and quality. Operate scales and maintain a backup stock area to avoid product shortages.
• Customer Service Excellence: Understand customers’ needs by listening to their requests, advising them on products, and ensuring they leave with the best customer experience possible.
• Product Promotion & Merchandising: Display passion for the products by enthusiastically promoting fresh produce to customers. Ensure that products are stored, handled, and merchandised according to Pick n Pay’s high standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work efficiently as part of a team to complete tasks on time and contribute to overall store success.
• Cleanliness & Hygiene: Uphold hygiene standards by maintaining cleanliness in the Fruit & Veg section, ensuring that products are always presented attractively.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum Education: Grade 10
