McDonald’s is Hiring New Staff for December 2024 McDonald’s is looking for enthusiastic Crew Members to join the team in Johannesburg! As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for customers, preparing food to high standards, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
- Work Hours: 9 hrs/day
- Salary: To Be Confirmed (TBC) per month
- Contract Type: Permanent – Full-time
- Work Schedule: Every Day
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
Below are the daily tasks you’ll take on as a Crew Member:
- Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers with a friendly smile and make them feel welcomed.
- Accurately take orders and manage multiple orders efficiently.
- Ensure customers leave satisfied and maintain the positive reputation of McDonald’s.
- Food Preparation & Order Fulfillment:
- Prepare menu items according to McDonald’s standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure orders are packaged correctly and promptly.
- Restaurant Maintenance & Stock Management:
- Keep the restaurant and equipment clean and hygienic.
- Follow safety and security protocols to maintain a secure environment.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with receiving and storing new stock.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work effectively with crew members and managers to achieve sales targets.
- Communicate politely with customers, team members, and managers.
- Be open to training and learning new skills to improve performance.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Matric certificate.
- Language: Proficiency in English.
- Location: Must reside within 15km of the job location.
- Other Requirements: Clear criminal record.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, these qualifications may be beneficial:
- Experience: Prior experience working as a Crew Member or in a similar role.
