Key Responsibilities
As a General Worker, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the production facility. Your duties will include:
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure production floors, machines, conveyors, and surrounding areas are clean and safe.
- Stock Management: Supply production machines with dry goods from the designated area.
- Product Reworks: Perform rework activities on non-conforming products to meet quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, practices, and regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in Mini Business activities, contributing to team goals and initiatives.
What You Need to Succeed
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience as a General Worker in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Completion of a Packaging Skills Programme is essential.
- Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Physically fit and capable of performing physically strenuous duties.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative without prompting.
- Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and overtime, when necessary.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a commitment to Heineken’s corporate values.
