A learnership is a structured program that combines theoretical knowledge with practical workplace experience. At Guardrisk, participants will work towards obtaining a Short Term and Long Term Insurance NQF Level 4 qualification, which is recognized by INSETA and SAQA.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a South African citizen aged 18-25.
  • Have completed Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 with the following results:
    • Pure Mathematics: Minimum 60% OR
    • Mathematical Literacy: Minimum 70%
    • English: Minimum 65%
  • Be currently unemployed.
  • Have never participated in a learnership before.

Your Role in the Learnership

Participants in the Guardrisk Learnership Program will engage in a variety of responsibilities to ensure a well-rounded experience:

Process Responsibilities:

  • Attend classroom sessions and on-the-job training.
  • Develop a strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and procedures.
  • Compile a detailed portfolio of evidence for submission to SETA.
  • Maintain comprehensive logbooks of practical experiences.
  • Complete assessments to demonstrate proficiency in key areas.
