- Investigate credit and fraud referrals and take appropriate action to resolve or escalate issues.
3. Customer Experience Management
- Engage with customers to enhance their overall experience with Absa.
- Handle transactional activities efficiently in alignment with workforce plans and schedules.
4. Risk and Governance
- Ensure adherence to internal and external risk policies, including:
- National Credit Act (NCA)
- Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA)
- Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act
- Identify and report risks while maintaining governance standards.

- Conduct deep dives, root cause analysis, and lessons learned exercises to address operational risk issues proactively.
- Monitor control environments and review major remediation plans for adequacy, completeness, and progress.
Effective Management of Business Development Function
- Ensure alignment of risk management strategies with Absa’s business objectives.
- Support the business in risk identification, management, and mitigation planning.
