The Transport Storeman at RCL Foods is responsible for maintaining stock levels, verifying incoming and outgoing goods, documenting discrepancies, and ensuring seamless distribution across depots. This role ensures that all parts, lubricants, and other inventory items are available when needed, supporting the company’s supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Control stock levels to ensure uninterrupted availability of parts and lubricants
• Receive incoming goods and verify that the GRN matches the purchase order, delivery note, and/or invoice
• Monitor, record, and distribute orders to and from depots with proper logging and signatures
• Document any shortages or excess deliveries with signatures from the Storeman and delivery personnel
• Record all goods returned to suppliers on a Goods Returned Note (GRN)
• Create GRNs from supplier delivery notes or invoices and attach relevant documents immediately upon delivery
• Process workflows with master-data teams to allocate stock and bin numbers for all items
• Conduct stock counts every two weeks
• Issue parts to mechanics according to standard operating procedures
• Record and update all stock dispensed on the Fleet Systems daily
• Request quotations and place purchase orders with suppliers

• Completed Grade 12
