Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for the SAPS Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must possess a relevant qualification (graduate interns)
- Must have no criminal convictions or pending cases
- Must be currently unemployed or have never been employed in the field applied for
- Must not have participated in an internship programme relevant to the field applied for
- Must provide a legitimate residential address
- Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply
Categories of internships:
- Graduate Intern: Must provide a completed tertiary qualification with a certified statement of results attached.
- Student Intern: Must provide a letter from a tertiary institution requiring practical experience, issued within the last two years.
Role Responsibility

- Assist in carrying out projects, research, and case-related work
