Introduction

The Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority (FASSET), in collaboration with the South West Gauteng Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College (SWGC), has launched a Digital Hub Skills Programme for 2025. This initiative will empower 250 prospective learners with the tools and confidence to thrive in the fast-growing digital economy.

The FASSET-SWGC Digital Hub Skills Programme is tailored to address the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). It offers accessible, accredited, and future-focused training to equip participants with in-demand digital skills. The programme not only prepares learners for employment but also encourages entrepreneurial innovation, with full access to SWGC’s state-of-the-art Digital Hub facilities.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must submit the following:
- Application letter stating the programme reference number
- Matric or NC(V) Level 4, CV, ID, proof of address, and proof of banking
- Basic Computer Literacy Certificate or proof of an IT-related programme completed
- SARS confirmation of registration
- Affidavit confirming non-participation in any previous FASSET-funded programme
- Certified copy of ID (issued within the last 3 months)
Role Responsibility
Learners will undergo six months of intensive training designed to build practical and theoretical skills. They will participate in innovative digital learning, contribute to real-world projects, and prepare for employment or entrepreneurship in digital industries.
