Important Notes:

• Legislation: All appointments will be made in accordance with the Public Protector Act. Successful candidates will be required to sign a secrecy declaration form upon assuming duty.
• Relocation: Applicants who wish to apply for an internship outside their area of residence must be prepared to arrange their own accommodation and transportation, as the stipend provided is R 7,000.00 per month.
• Application Documents: Applications must include:
  • A covering letter quoting the reference number.
  • A detailed CV.
  • Contactable references.
  • Copies of qualifications (Matric certificate, academic records, and other relevant certificates).
  • A copy of the ID document.
• Assessments: Applicants must be available for assessments and selection interviews at a time, date, and place specified by Public Protector South Africa.
• Foreign Qualifications: It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that any foreign qualifications are evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
• Verification: All internship appointments are subject to a verification and pre-screening process.
• Rights Reserved: Public Protector South Africa reserves the right not to make an appointment.
• Communication: Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates. If you do not hear from Public Protector South Africa within six weeks of the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
