Job Description
As a Seasonal Labourer, the successful candidates will actively participate in essential on-farm operations and support research efforts under the guidance of farm supervisors. Responsibilities will include a variety of manual labor tasks that are central to the cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting of crops. The role will involve both independent and team-based work, offering candidates practical experience in tropical and subtropical fruit farming.
Key duties include:
- Executing farm practices as instructed by farm management
- Handling and maintaining tools and agricultural equipment
- Performing labor-intensive tasks, including weeding, pruning, and harvesting
- Adhering strictly to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations
- Operating small machinery, such as brush cutters and chainsaws, where needed
- Supporting farm staff in preparing fields and crop areas

Role Responsibility
