Tasks
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Venue Protection Officer will include:
- Providing residential protection services for the Executive Chairman.
- Monitoring and managing CCTV systems to detect and respond to suspicious activity.
- Implementing and overseeing access control procedures to ensure venue safety.
- Performing routine and surprise patrols to assess security vulnerabilities.
- Offering rapid security assistance in any emergency or operational event.
- Reporting and documenting any incidents or irregularities.
- Working closely with other security personnel to enforce disciplinary protocols and uphold team integrity.
Qualifications
To be considered for this prestigious security position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 or Matric Certificate.
- PSIRA registration with Security Officer Grade C certification.
- Valid firearm competency certificate.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean criminal record.
Experience
Successful candidates should demonstrate:

- Familiarity with CCTV surveillance and monitoring protocols.
