Aspen’s Social Economic Development (SED) Graduate Programme for 2024, based in JHB North, is an excellent opportunity for young graduates passionate about social responsibility and community development. The programme is designed to develop graduates’ skills over 12 months by providing them with hands-on experience in various SED activities. The goal is to equip graduates with the knowledge and tools needed to contribute effectively to Aspen’s SED initiatives.

The programme offers a comprehensive training process, providing exposure to key business segments, including manufacturing and commercial pharmaceuticals. Graduates will work under the guidance of an experienced CSI (Corporate Social Investment) Manager, gaining insight into how Aspen’s SED efforts positively impact communities.

Key Responsibilities

As a graduate in the Aspen SED Graduate Programme, you will be involved in various responsibilities that will enhance your experience and skills, including:

  • Process payments for SED initiatives and ensure timely tracking of expenses.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to manage payments and invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of all SED activities and programs.
  • Provide administrative support to the SED team, including organizing events and preparing reports.
  • Coordinate meetings and assist in drafting documents such as reports and presentations.
  • Engage with other departments to ensure effective collaboration on SED initiatives.
  • Generate simple reports and assist in minute-taking during meetings.
  • Administrative tasks as needed to support the overall SED team.

Qualification Requirements

To be considered for this exciting graduate programme, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
  • A Degree or Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or Finance.

Skills and Attributes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
