Minimum Requirements

• Valid forklift license with current medical clearance

Role Responsibility

As a Forklift Driver at AVI, your key responsibilities will include:

• Operating a forklift to safely unload incoming vehicles
• Arranging and stacking inventory within the warehouse efficiently
• Pre-checking vehicles and stock for contamination according to food safety standards
• Meeting vehicle turnaround time (TAT) targets
• Handling stock and pallets carefully to prevent damage
• Inspecting, sorting, and counting pallets daily according to CHEP standards
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the pallet storage area
• Stacking pallets within maximum height limits
• Assisting with dispatch loading according to supervisor instructions
• Ensuring safe and balanced loading of goods in vehicles
• Performing general warehouse duties when required
