This opportunity is specifically designed for individuals aged between 18 and 29 years, aiming to empower them with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in logistics and transport.

Background & Job Description
BPO is one of the largest in-port logistics providers in South Africa, with operations extending to every commercial cargo port across the country. Its range of services includes:
- Stevedoring
- Warehousing and Terminal Operations

The learnership programme is a 12-month fixed-term contract designed to offer hands-on work exposure while equipping learners with a National Qualification upon completion.
The two structured learnership options are:
- National Certificate: Freight Handling
- Focus: Efficient, safe, and effective handling, storing, and transportation of freight.
- General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) in Transport
- Focus: Introduction to the transport industry with emphasis on operational procedures, safety practices, and basic logistics.
Additionally, online education courses will supplement the practical learning to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.
Tasks
During the learnership, learners will:
- Receive on-the-job training in real-time logistics and port environments
- Participate in classroom-based learning for theoretical understanding

Qualifications

- Have passed Matric with at least 60% overall average

- Be willing to commit to a full 12-month programme
Experience
