The Bidvest International Logistics Unemployed Learnership 2025-2026 is designed to equip unemployed individuals—specifically African females living with disabilities—with the skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Freight and Logistics industry. This 12-month program combines theoretical learning and practical experience, culminating in a nationally recognized qualification under the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).
Participants gain exposure to BIL’s operations across multiple divisions and benefit from hands-on training in a professional working environment. Many past learners have successfully transitioned into permanent roles within the logistics sector.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Bidvest International Logistics Unemployed Learnership, candidates must:
- Hold a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Be prepared to work full-time for 12 months
- Have a strong interest in Transport and Logistics
- Work independently and responsibly
- Demonstrate motivation and dedication to the role
- Manage their own stipend and study commitments
- Act professionally according to BIL corporate standards (appearance, conduct, communication)
- Have basic computer literacy skills
Role Responsibility
Participants in the learnership will:
- Engage in a combination of classroom-based learning and on-the-job training
- Complete all theoretical modules through BIL’s eLearning platform
- Compile and submit a Portfolio of Evidence to demonstrate acquired knowledge and skills
- Gain practical experience across three key divisions of BIL’s operations
- Commit to the 12-month program and meet all attendance and performance requirements
