This structured 12-month program provides both theoretical and practical training in the Freight and Logistics sector, equipping learners with the necessary skills and qualifications to build a successful career in this dynamic industry.

The learnership is nationally available across various provinces, including Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and Western Cape. As a registered qualification through QCTO (Quality Council Traits and Occupations), successful candidates will gain valuable industry knowledge and hands-on experience within Bidvest International Logistics’ various divisions.

Job Description

  • Participate in a structured 12-month learnership program that includes theoretical training and practical experience.
  • Gain exposure to various divisions within Bidvest International Logistics.
  • Complete all required modules through the BIL eLearning Platform.
  • Maintain and submit a portfolio of evidence upon completion of the qualification.
  • Receive mentorship and guidance throughout the program.
  • Work in a professional corporate environment, learning essential workplace skills.

Ideal Candidate

To qualify for this learnership, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be an African female living with a disability.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Hold a Grade 12 Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
  • Must be available for full-time commitment for 12 months.
  • Have a keen interest in the Freight and Logistics industry.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Role Responsibility

  • Engage in hands-on learning experiences within three divisions of BIL.
  • Complete all assigned training modules on the eLearning platform.
  • Submit a comprehensive portfolio of evidence as part of the qualification.
  • Adhere to the company’s policies and standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, communication, and workplace behavior.
