- Additional Advantage: Completion of Nated Engineering studies, including relevant trade theory.

2. Apprentice Transportation Electrician (Automotive Electrician)
- Education: Matric certificate with at least 50% in Mathematics and Physical Science, OR an NQF 4/N3 in Engineering Studies with at least 50% in Mathematics and Engineering Science.
