What is Transnet Sector Specific Trainee Programme?
The Transnet Sector Specific Trainee Programme is a structured development plan that helps learners gain practical work experience within Transnet Port Terminals. It aims to create a pipeline of skilled talent who can eventually take on permanent roles within Transnet. The programme combines classroom learning, hands-on exposure, and mentorship to ensure trainees are well-prepared for a career in logistics, transport, and operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• South African citizenship
• Grade 12 / Matric certificate

Advantageous Qualifications:

• TVET N6 in Logistics or Transport

Role Responsibility:

• Participate fully in a structured 12-month training programme
• Complete all tasks and projects assigned during the programme
• Attend and actively contribute to learning sessions and workshops
• Undergo regular performance assessments and reviews
• Support operational and administrative functions as required by Transnet Port Terminals
