Minimum Requirements:

• South African citizenship
• A relevant qualification in one of the following:
  • Diploma in Information Technology – Networking (NQF 6)
  • Advanced Certificate in Business Management (NQF 6)
• Unemployed graduates with no prior work experience in their field
• Strong interest in heritage and museum operations
• Commitment to the 12-month internship duration

Role Responsibility:
Interns will be assigned to departments based on their qualifications and interests. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting in IT support, network management, or business operations
• Supporting daily museum activities and administrative tasks
• Participating in project implementation and reporting
• Contributing to initiatives that preserve and promote Robben Island’s heritage
• Engaging with museum staff and visitors to provide educational and administrative support
