As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the workshop supervisor and technicians in refurbishing and stripping cooler equipment. This role also involves recycling parts and ensuring the cooler refurbishment aligns with Coca-Cola South Africa’s standards, contributing positively to the company’s image.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Technicians: Provide hands-on support to the team, aiding in the repair and maintenance of cooler equipment.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform a range of miscellaneous tasks as required by the workshop supervisor.
- Paste Decals: Assist in applying decals and branding to refurbished coolers.
- Stripping: Disassemble equipment and components as necessary for refurbishment or recycling.
- Waste Disposal: Ensure proper disposal of waste materials following company guidelines and safety regulations.
- GMP Compliance: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain high-quality standards throughout the workshop processes.

Skills, Experience, and Education
To be successful in this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Grade 12 Certificate is required.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a workshop environment is advantageous.
- Driver’s License: Possessing a valid Code B driver’s license will be an added advantage.
