Key Responsibilities:
As an In-Service Trainee in Quality Assurance, your primary duties will include conducting quality tests, compiling detailed reports, and communicating any deviations from the set standards. The goal is to ensure that both the product and packaging meet CCBSA’s high-quality standards while minimizing costs and maintaining comprehensive records for audits.
Required Knowledge:
To excel in this role, candidates must possess an understanding of subjects such as microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and mathematics related to the food industry. Familiarity with laboratory policies and practices is a bonus.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be considered for this in-service training program, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (passed with 40% or higher)
- Two South African languages passed with at least 40%
- Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related field
- Must have completed the theoretical part of the qualification and require practical exposure to complete your studies
- Employment Equity candidate and South African citizen
- Unemployed at the time of appointment
- Must be aged between 18-35 years
- A letter from your educational institution confirming that you need practical experience for your qualification
