As part of this Packaging Learnership, you will gain valuable exposure to the production and packaging processes that contribute to Coca-Cola’s world-class beverages. This program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the packaging and manufacturing industry, enhancing your skills and knowledge through practical and theoretical learning.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this learnership, you must meet the following requirements:

Citizenship: South African citizen, aged 18–35 years.
Employment Equity: Preference will be given to candidates who align with our Employment Equity guidelines.
Educational Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with a pass in:
  - Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy (minimum 40%).
  - Physical Science (minimum 50%).
- Proficiency in English and at least one other South African language (minimum 40%).
- A post-matric qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
Employment Status:
- Must be currently unemployed.
- Should not have previously completed the same learnership or qualification at another company.

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging Process: Assist in the packaging of Coca-Cola products while adhering to strict quality standards.
Machine Operation: Operate and maintain packaging machines and equipment, ensuring optimal efficiency and minimal downtime.
Quality Control: Monitor product packaging quality, ensuring that all products meet Coca-Cola’s global quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the packaging process.
Health & Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside experienced team members to learn the ropes of packaging and production processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

To qualify for this Packaging Learnership at CCBSA, you will need to meet the following criteria:

Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science.
Passion for manufacturing and packaging.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Basic technical skills or an interest in learning about machinery and equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Willingness to learn and grow in a leading global brand.
No prior work experience in packaging is required, but any technical or manufacturing experience will be a plus.
