Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (NQF 7) or equivalent qualification.
- Professional Registration:
- Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions as a Social Worker.
- Legislative Knowledge:
- Understanding of relevant Public Service Legislation.
- Language Proficiency:
- Proficient in any of the official languages in the Free State Province.
- Practical Experience:
- Internship or practicum placement in a Social Development setting is advantageous.
- Licensing and Technical Skills:
- A valid South African driver’s license is preferred.
