The Communication Analyst Intern will play a critical role in ensuring the successful communication of key operational and product-related information to internal and external stakeholders.
Tasks
As an intern in the Communication Analyst role, your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering information from various stakeholders to create effective communication strategies
- Drafting content for multiple channels including stakeholder publications
- Creating and updating communication materials such as operational forms, letters, and emails
- Managing and updating the communication library, document index, and internal websites
- Briefing design and marketing teams on content requirements and tracking delivery timelines
- Prioritizing and organizing communication deliverables to meet agreed-upon deadlines
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following educational requirements:
- A Matric (Grade 12) certificate
- Currently pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field
Experience
While prior work experience is not strictly required, candidates with exposure to similar roles will have a competitive edge. The following technical proficiencies are essential:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Previous involvement in writing, editing, or internal communications will be advantageous
