2. Guidelines for Applicants

3. Guidelines for Departments

  • Where vacancies are aimed at promoting employment equity and representativeness, departments should apply the relevant sections of the Employment Equity Act, 1998, particularly Sections 15 and 20.
  • Advertisements for such posts must state the intention to promote representativeness, and preference will be given to candidates whose appointment will enhance diversity and equity.
  • The recruitment and selection processes follow the appropriate procedures as prescribed for employment in the Public Service.

4. Z83 Application Form

Applicants must use the revised Z83 form, effective from 1 January 2021, when submitting applications. This updated form ensures consistency in application submissions and must be completed in full to be considered valid.
