About the Supreme Chicken Job Vacancy as Electrician 2025
Supreme Chicken is seeking qualified candidates for a permanent Electrician position within the poultry processing industry. The successful applicant will ensure smooth electrical operations and contribute to the efficiency and reliability of daily production.

This role requires expertise in handling heavy machinery, managing electrical connections, power distribution, and generator operations. Applicants must have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety standards.

Role Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogues
• Maintain and repair electrical equipment both on-site and off-site
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure smooth machine operation and efficient building systems
• Plan and execute repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams
• Inspect drives, motors, and belts, and complete maintenance tasks per established checklists
• Examine used parts for dimensional changes using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Record all maintenance and repair activities, including costs
• Operate basic hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electronic testing devices

General Responsibilities as Electrician

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
• Inspect circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring for safety and compliance
• Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices
• Follow technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer instructions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company standards
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and urgent repair needs
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
• Collaborate with other staff and departments to resolve technical issues
• Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices immediately

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Valid Electrical Trade Test Certificate
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of HACCP standards
