Key Responsibilities and Daily Tasks
- Accept Production into the Magazine
- Sign production transfer sheets
- Record entries in the magazine register
- Prepare Products for Dispatch
- Affix stickers with consignee details
- Log items in the magazine register
- Organize and prepare products for loading
- Execute Product Dispatch
- Dispatch oldest stock first
- Minimize expired or outdated inventory
- Stock Control and Record-Keeping
- Perform daily stock counts as required by law
- Submit daily stock sheets to management
- Keep the magazine register updated to reflect accurate stock levels
- General Administrative Support
- Assist magazine team with general administrative duties
- Maintain clean, accurate documentation
- Uphold FIFO principles during dispatch
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid driver’s licence
- At least 1 year experience in supply chain, explosives handling, or mining operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience maintaining explosives magazine registers is a strong advantage
