Your Role in a Nutshell

As a Clerk: General Administration, you’ll support various clerical and administrative tasks across the Civil Department. This role is essential to ensure the smooth execution of daily operations while maintaining compliance and document control standards.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Office Administration qualification (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant clerical/administrative experience

What You’ll Do in This Role

  • Perform daily administrative tasks across the department
  • Maintain office filing and record systems
  • Assist with SHEQ documentation and compliance processes
  • Coordinate training logistics and records
  • Process admin-related tasks using SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Support Diesel Admin Clerk functions where necessary

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong time management and deadline orientation
  • Basic verbal and written communication proficiency
  • Knowledge of SAP, ISO 9000, BCCEI Main Agreement, and Zenzele (advantageous)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
  • A team player who can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
